quinoa flakes
I've been considering that I might need more protein in my diet, so I decided to get some quinoa flakes for making hot cereal for breakfast. But in Whole Foods I compared the nutrition charts and found that creamy wheat has about the same amount of protein in it, which is confusing. Quinoa flakes are a lot more expensive, but I bought some for experiment's sake, and I just made some for lunch. I put earth balance and turbinado sugar and some soymilk into the finished product, and it was okay--not as good as creamy wheat. Different.
