buckwheat for breakfast
This morning I made kashi for breakfast. That's the name of toasted buckwheat groats. It's pretty good. It's got protein kind of like quinoa. I made it with water and soymilk and put sugar in mine. Ming put raisins.
one cup kashi
one cup water
two cups soymilk
Bring to a boil and simmer for 12 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
We actually grow buckwheat in the backyard. So I asked Ming to harvest some of its seeds for me so I can soak them and sprout them.
