I noticed that I'll be talking to niece 1, and I'll say, "You know how whatever?" meaning, "Please call to mind concept whatever so we can talk about it," but she answers, "How?" as if I were really asking how. Erik thinks maybe I'm the only person who uses this idiom with her.
