getting rid of the tv

I would like to get rid of our TV, VCR, and DVD player. We use them--well, we haven't used them in so long. The rare times we see a movie, we watch it on Erik's laptop. The only thing is we have some stuff on VHS that I would be sad to think I would never see again. But it would free us up not having this TV and VCR and DVD player anymore.

The TV is so old that the DVD player wouldn't hook up to it and we needed to route it through the VCR. We bought it used from our friend A during grad school.
