Once, Twice, Seven Times a Werewolf

There's a Half-handed Cloud song "Once, Twice, Seven Times a Werewolf" which I find hilarious and told Erik--he noted that it was a play on "Once, Twice, Three Times a Lady."

"What does that even mean?" he asked. "Does that mean they did it three times?"

"No!" I said.

"Does it means that she acted in a manner that he approved of not just one time, but three different instances? Is it like the reverse of strikes in baseball?" he asked. "You should write this in a letter to Lionel Richie."
