new place
Today M and I moved in to our new place. We're in Oak Park. Tonight we ate pretend vanilla ice cream with the loquat sauce I made a few days ago. It was delicious. I am exhausted and there are only more box-related activities in our future.
Our neighbors are great. It's like a family here, D said, and it's true. M said we needed shower curtain rings, and D took half the rings off his own shower curtain for us. It's like giving someone the shirt off your back.
The garden here is admirable. There are so many tomato plants! I'm really impressed and hope to show you pictures soon.
I am very happy and excited to be here.

I am kind of tho! I couch hop in Oak Park all the time when I'm in Sacramento, which I am right now! Except not couch hopping, I'm subletting my friends basement apartment downtown.
