winter garden

Today we went to our community garden plot.  We did some winter gardening--ripping out the old tomato plant that was still there.  I hacked at the lavender which is trying to grow over the line into the neighbor's plot.  I hacked at the yarrow too, same. 

Here is basil wood, all that's left of our loved basil.
