blurbs

I think today I'm going to make kik alicha, an Ethiopian yellow split pea stew.  We walked to the co-op again this morning, this time for yellow split peas.  It's anti-depression Friday when everyone gets 10% off.  We bought bagels too and ate them on the patio.

Today it's supposed to hit 106, if you can believe that.  Unfortunately, I can believe it.  A friend is moving this weekend.

Oh, I wanted to tell you that it was good, last night--the political prisoner writing thing.  I think I wrote some good blurbs in cards.  One of the cards had a picture on the front of a spoon billed ibis.
