oops

By blanching tomatoes I got to learn something about tomato-ness that I had never known. 

It's good but too sweet.  I never should have followed the sugar instructions.

We theorized that maybe our tomatoes are sweet because they're romas out of the backyard, not round ones from a store.  So we didn't need any sugar at all.
