Yesterday we went to a BBQ at my friend H's place. We stayed only a short time. I am not good at parties at all, so it was a stretch. We brought blueberries.

Then we went to dinner with Erik's best friend T and his girlfriend--we were meeting the latter for the first time. First we drank water at her place. Then we went to Kasbah and ate delicious Middle Eastern food. Then we went back to T's girlfriend's place and sat talking on the porch. We were really nervous. They're moving to Napa, and we're planning to visit them there.
