Yesterday we had our truck towed to the mechanic. It will cost a lot to get it repaired, but there's a government program to help us repair it since it's up for smog. Right now Erik's at the IRS office getting a transcript of our last year's taxes. Then we'll go to the mechanic and do paperwork.

Magpies are shrieking and chuckling outside--they're loud. I like them, those sky clowns.
