mouse woes

My mouse died, my computer mouse.  It started working badly then died altogether.  The little red light stopped glowing.

But I have another mouse, a cordless mouse.  It's hot pink.  But there's only one problem.  The right mouse button doesn't work.  Why is that?

So I'm trying to work around not having a right mouse button.  I looked up the cut and paste keyboard commands.  I'm still not sure how to open a link in a new tab.

Also in the news, Ming went to Gather and brought home some $5 vegetarian lumpia that was so good.
