messy rice

Erik's been having the allergy attack from hell--we were up during the night.

Yesterday we made Messy Rice from the Veganomicon, and it was delicious, but it burned on the bottom. I need to figure out what I did wrong. I guess I needed to cook it less time. I assumed 40 min because it was brown rice, but it's brown jasmine rice, and maybe if I look at the package it will say a shorter time.

SAT scoring is over. We have nothing to do today. Maybe we'll go out to lunch to celebrate our anniversary, something we didn't do during SAT.
