Recently we got some perfectly excellent organic potatoes at the co-op for cheap--they were in the "produce about to go bad" area for 99 cents for about three and a half or four pounds. I have been making fried potatoes out of them. Today's batch I put in some garlic toward the end, which was nice, Erik's suggestion. I am not really a potato person--I would like to be, but I just don't think to make them. I'm definitely carb-loving, though.
