two food lists

This morning I went to free breakfast and met a new friend.  She is sweet.  She practiced her English on me.

oatmeal
strawberry yogurt
cut up nectarines
blueberry bagel
tea

They said there's no word for bagel in Spanish.  They said there are no bagels in Mexico!

Then Ming and I went to church food giveaway where I was very happy to get my favorite kind of bread.

seedy bread
canned peas
canned Chinese mushrooms
two onions
bagged lettuce
some pastries

They threw away some huge bags of rice.  They must have gotten bugs in them?
