consumnes river preserve

This morning we picked oranges but there were not very many. 

This morning we dropped off packing peanuts at the UPS store, made a few photocopies, and snacked at Freeport Bakery.  It was our first time trying their acorn cookie.  The brownie was better.  We actually went for a slice of vegan chocolate cake, but it's special order, so they don't keep any on hand for slices.

Yesterday we went to Consumes River Preserve to see the sandhill cranes.  There were a few flying in.  Last time I was there (more than a year ago) there were hundreds.  It was beautiful there.  I love it there.
