chocolate experiments

Today I tried a new kind of chocolate, Green & Black's dark chocolate with dried cherries in it. I don't care for it. The cherries remind me of raisins in this context, which I don't like. The cherries feel like a distraction from the chocolate rather than a happy partner.

Also in the news, I recently had some dark chocolate with freeze dried orange peels in it, which sounds overly strong, but it's quite delicious. The peels give a nice crunch, and it's not overpowering. This bar's made by a company called Chocolove oxox. My friend A bought it for us when she visited the day before Halloween.
