lack

I'm sending out the new zines ELM 46 and fi 6 at a snail's pace. Today I only sent to two people. What the heck? I'm dragging ass and unmotivated and not concentrating well and blah blah blah blah blah.

You're right. Mine arrived yesterday and I loved Functionally Ill, as always and would love to be able to use it or pieces in class. I also read the first few pieces in ELM 46 and loved the anniversary story and think that would be great to use in class if the author was willing to allow for such things. I have to reread it to remember specifically what I liked.

I know there was at least a line or two that nicely matched with the way someone told me about how she's in love last night and how she knew before she knew and expressed in such an amazing and meaningful way.

I am so, so glad to have your feedback because it's the first I've received (other than Erik's). I'm so, so glad you like them. Yes, the author is willing.

I think you should try some Hernandez Bros. (Los Bros. Hernandez) comics, like Luba: Three Sisters.

I should read your Naomi Nowak review right now. I think I will. I hope you liked it. House of Clay... I maybe need to read it when not at my parents'. I think I'm too lethargic there to know something good, or maybe it was OK, but I love Nowak's art. I think House of CLay needs another read by me. I <3 Nowak's women.

Now I have to read it. It sounds too weird not too, though I hope your words won't influence my reading of Unholy Kinship. I guess it's there in the title. Unholy. Kinship. Twincest!

I see she has a new book arriving in two weeks, Graylight. On the must read list then.

Hi--I looked up the Luba stuff, and it looks great--I put Luba in America on my wishlist.

Yeah, I think you'll actually like it--I think the shower scene and clothing change scene will be right up your alley, and the twincest stuff is subtle. I'm hyper-sensitive to it.
